A redesigned, closer pivot point follows the natural arc of the finger, while a 5-degree upward lever bend and optimized grip width ensure a more comfortable and confident hand position during technical trail riding.

The updated SERVO WAVE mechanism improves the power curve without added friction, and the use of low-viscosity mineral oil guarantees consistent and powerful braking across a wide range of temperatures and terrain.

The BL-M8200 is compatible with both the BR-M8200 (XC) and BR-M8220 (Enduro) calipers, providing flexibility in setup. Manufactured through Shimano's trusted forging process, the aluminum lever is built for durability. It features adjustable free stroke and tool-free reach adjustment to accommodate different hand sizes. I-Spec EV compatibility allows the shift lever to be mounted directly to the brake lever, creating a cleaner handlebar layout.
