The SR Suntour X1 32 RLR Coil DS is a suspension fork for 29-inch mountain bikes, well suited for MTB trail, XC riding and more active recreational off-road use. Its 100 mm travel helps smooth out rough terrain, improves control on forest paths and gravel roads, and gives the bike a more confident feel on technical sections.

The fork uses coil spring suspension with preload adjustment, allowing the suspension feel to be adapted to rider weight and preference. The 32 mm stanchions provide a stiffer and more stable construction compared with simpler entry-level forks, giving better control when riding off-road.

The RL damper adds practical control over the fork’s behaviour, helping the rider adapt the suspension to the trail and riding conditions. This is useful on mixed terrain where more efficient pedalling may be preferred on climbs and smoother sections, while suspension comfort and traction are needed on descents and rougher surfaces.

The DS version is designed for disc brake use. The fork features a Postmount brake mount for direct 160 mm rotor use and supports a maximum disc rotor diameter of 180 mm. This model is not compatible with V-brakes.

The fork has a 1-1/8" steel steerer and a 9x100 mm dropout axle standard, suitable for a conventional quick-release front wheel. Before installation, steerer standard, brake type, wheel size, front wheel axle standard and tire clearance should be checked carefully.

The alloy bottom case keeps the construction durable and practical, while the maximum suggested tire size of 29"x2.4", or ETRTO 62-622, provides enough clearance for versatile XC and trail use.
