The LE 73 IMPACTX™ PHOTOCHROMIC 2 BLACK lenses boast the widest tonal range (65% tint variation) and are the only ImpactX photochromic lenses suitable for use at night or in low-light conditions. Rudy Project ImpactX™ photochromic lenses automatically darken and lighten in seconds according to light intensity, making them ideal for changing light conditions.

ImpactX™ lenses were originally developed for military and aviation needs, making them ultralight, shatterproof, scratch-resistant, and highly transparent. This ensures significantly better protection and reliability compared to polycarbonate or polyamide lenses. The lens optics also enhance visibility and reduce eye fatigue.

With its ultralight wraparound geometry, the Propulse delivers a perfect and natural compression fit without any annoying pressure on the head. The result is extremely comfortable and stable eyewear, featuring proprietary Hi-Grip integrated temple tips and massive vents on both the front chassis, lenses, and temples to efficiently prevent fogging. The wide lenses offer enhanced eye protection, minimizing the risk of tearing while providing a deep field of vision.
