The SHIMANO DEORE XT RD-M8120 is a 2x12-speed mountain bike rear derailleur featuring SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology for fast, quiet and stable shifting. The new-generation M8100 series reduces derailleur and chain tension in low gears, delivering a noticeably quieter drivetrain.

Larger 13T pulleys improve chain management and efficiency, while the added bumper on the pulley cage enhances durability on rough trails. The RD-M8120 is optimized for double chainring setups (36-26T) and works with a 10–45T 12-speed cassette, providing a wide and evenly spaced gear range.

Its low-profile design keeps the derailleur closer to the frame, reducing the risk of damage on technical terrain. The result is fast and shock-free shifting performance, optimized for every trail condition.
