The goal with the Campione TT was to create Maxxis´ lightest tubular race tire to date.
The engineers started with the proven tread pattern, casing, and 3C Triple Compound of the Campione, but removed any added puncture protection. The result is a lightweight tire, with a very supple ride, perfect for use in time trials or on the velodrome.
3C Triple Compound Road
Triple Compound road technology utilizes three distinct silica compounds in different locations within the tread of the tire. The center compound is optimized for exceptional treadwear and low rolling resistance. The progressively softer shoulder compounds provide increased grip while cornering.
