IMPACTX Lenses

ImpactX® lenses are unbreakable (thanks to their unique semi-rigid structure) and self-tint (or lighten) depending on weather conditions, making them ideal for changing light. These lenses were originally developed for military and aviation needs to be ultra-light, bulletproof, and transparent, ensuring significantly better protection and reliability compared to polycarbonate or polyamide lenses. The semi-rigid structure of ImpactX® lenses provides the best physical protection for the eyes against external impacts and simultaneously minimizes the severity of injuries that may occur from falls or impacts.

Cutline Design and Features

Cutline glasses are light (36g), durable, and adjustable to fit your face shape. They feature exceptionally comfortable and easily adjustable nose pads that suit various face shapes. The nose pads also allow you to adjust the height and distance of the lenses from your face. The frames have adjustable temples – simply apply gentle pressure and bend them to your desired direction. Special soft temple tips allow the glasses to be safely attached to a helmet.

The glasses come with protective rubber bumpers for both the top and bottom edges of the lenses, which can be interchanged or removed as desired. These are made of a soft and durable polymer and offer additional face protection in case of a fall or impact. Different colored bumpers can be purchased to further personalize your glasses.

The lenses also have additional air vents on their top and bottom edges, which increase airflow and ensure maximum aerodynamic effect without compromising visual clarity.

Rudy Project uses innovative aviation-grade alloys in its products, such as Grilamid® and Kynetium. The Grilamid® frame is high-quality, impact-resistant, allergy-free, light, flexible, and durable. Kynetium in the temples combines aluminum with magnesium, silicon, and titanium. This has allowed for the creation of glasses that are exceptionally light (magnesium), durable (titanium), and flexible (silicon).
